A press conference of the project "Reducing the impact of local communities in the cross-border region of Serbia and Montenegro on climate challenges - WE CAN" was held in Pljevlja on June 7, 2021.
The project partners held a press conference, during which they presented the achievements of the project and their importance for reducing climate change and the use of renewable energy sources.
During the press conference, the representatives of the project partners presented the achievements of the project. The present media were addressed by: Dragan Roganović (Ibar Development Association), Zoran Čolović (Municipality of Pljevlja) and Jasmin Čelebić (Grijanje doo).
Dragan Roganović commented on the overall achievements of the project, as well as what was realized during the project in Serbia.
Mr. Zoran Čolović addressed the municipality of Pljevlja and presented the importance of the project on the achieved results for the municipality, emphasizing that the expectations are that this is just the beginning of more extensive activities to improve the environment in the municipality of Pljevlja and the entire cross-border region.

The “WE CAN” project is co-financed by the European Union within the financial instrument of pre-accession assistance (IPA II) through the Serbia-Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020. The contract for co-financing with European Union funds was signed with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia - Sector for contracting and financing programs from European Union funds. The project is a partnership realization of two civil society organizations and two public companies: the Ibar Development Association "IDA" Kraljevo, Grijanje d.o.o. Pljevlja, Public Energy Company "Toplana" Kraljevo and the Center for Environmental Initiatives from Berane. The project is being implemented in partnership on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro.
